Practical Work
Buying of chairs, lockers and tables
This is one single project we take up in most schools we work in. Children having to sit on the muddy floor and still concentrate in class is next to impossible. Mostly desks in form-structures meant for two children are shared among three-to-four children which makes even writing difficult.

Desks are an essential part of school life. Children using their laps or the backs of other children not only poses health issues but also the straining does not guarantee the child’s understanding in class. Without them, children cannot be comfortable in classes when learning.
We take up this project in situations where children in schools do not have access to this resources. We buy chairs, lockers and tables for the children. Not forgetting the teachers, we also consider them since without the comfortability of the teacher, no learning will take place that adds value to the lives of the poor children in school.

Buying of beds
Currently we are working in a boarding school. The situation is always heartbreaking seeing three children sharing one bed of approximately 2.5 by 6 feet and also sharing a blanket. Some children also just sleep on the floor with just a thin-size mattress.

We take up this single project to ensure the children have proper rest after having long learning days in class minding that, ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’ We try to get metallic beds so that it can check the spread of lice and bedbugs that mostly come with wooden beds.

Building of classrooms
Most classes in the schools we deal with are characterized by leaking roofs, muddy floors, tiny chalkboards and with all these problems, the classrooms are still few making children from different grades share a classroom.
